Margy and I have been taking dance lessons for about 4 months near our home in Central NJ. On a recent extended business trip/2nd
honeymoon, we thought a fun thing to do with our evenings was to continue our dance lessons, and we found Boca Ballroom conveniently located just a mile from our hotel in Boca Raton.
Making dance lessons with
Scott for 3 of our evenings during our 2 week stay was one of the highlights of our vacation time. We found Scott to be a superb teacher. He's fun, witty and very knowledgeable.
Although
an instructor is important to watch and help you overcome problems in your dance, the most discouraging thing about dance lessons is how quickly we forgot the fun dance steps we already learned. That's
where Scott's videos come in. The videos are high quality and a novice could probably learn many dance steps using nothing but the videos, but their real value is for review, brush-up and practice. They are
excellent to remind yourself of the steps.
Because the man's part is to lead, I like to scan through them just before going dancing to remind myself of the many steps and dances that I might want to
include that evening.
I think Dancing at Boca Ballroom, should be on every hotel list of things to do when visitors come to Boca Raton area.
