Summer in Prague Dance Trip

U.S. Pro/Am Ballroom Dance Championship to be held in Prague

August 26 - September 2, 2012.  (Arrival Sunday / Departure Sunday)

The competition will be held in a fabulous 5 Star hotel, the Grand Bohemia located in the heart of Old Town.  * Participation in the Competition is not required.

The activities included to date are:

Dinner Cruise on the Rhine

Medieval Banquet Show (wear your medieval attire)

Beer tour and tasting

Castle tour

Bone Church in Kutna Hora

I would advise everyone to make their decision to attend early, as we are going in August, the peak tourist season in Europe.  You won’t have to worry about monuments, tour sites, etc. being closed.  The weather will be fantastic, and even better, the competition falls over Labor Day weekend, giving you extra time.  Prague is located in the heart of Europe and is perfect for additional sightseeing to nearby countries if you so desire.  I would also suggest it it prudent to obtain your airline ticket now, as generally gas prices go up in summer.
